Python Developers - 2.

Activity & Project Brief

Regulation-as-code is a methodology for capturing regulations in source code that is readable by lawyers and tax experts, and executable for machines. This brings automation to the

consulting business. You can scale it better and deliver higher quality with less effort.

Software developers and tax experts work in tandem with regulation-as-code to implement and test regulation. The tax expert focuses exclusively on the rules and structure of the

regulation, while the developer takes care of the technical details. This works quite well in practice. In client engagement, a tax expert can then make simulations with the help of customer

data and a regulation-as-code module to advise the customer with concrete statements.

Python software development is the key for this project and main focus

This talk is based on a technology called Haskell. Meanwhile, we have built a new framework based on Python with new and better features. For the tax expert, this hardly matters. That is

precisely the point.

For this profile: important to take UX in account, domain specific language, as this engineer is involved in building the Regulation-as-code framework.
